Background
Julius Brian Siswojo started skateboarding in 1988 and since then, it’s been an integral part of his lifestyle in Hong Kong. His influence has spread the growth of skateboarding through extensive media exposure, and through various skateboard related events. As the chairman of ‘All Hong Kong Skateboards Associations’ and one of the founders of ‘Hong Kong Federation of Extreme sports,’ he continues to promote Skateboarding and Street fashion lifestyle.

8FIVE2 Distribution
In 1999, Brian started his company “8FIVE2 Distribution.” Through this, he was able to introduce for the first time such popular brands from the U.S and Japan such as Alphanumeric, Alien Workshop/Habitat/Seek/Reflex, Elwood/Aesthetics, and many more.
8FIVE2SHOP
In the year 2000, Brian was hired by Alphanumeric to be their Asia Sales & Marketing Director. After a successful year at Alphanumeric, Brian expanded his business to open the first high end street fashion/ skateboard shop called 8FIVE2SHOP. Known for it’s authenticity, clean image, and it’s great location in the heart of Hong Kong’s shopping area, 8FIVE2SHOP quickly gained popularity not only among the local media but, worldwide.
Many of the top skateboarders have passed through this shop such as Eric Koston, Tim O’Connor, Brian Wenning, Stefan Janoski, etc… In fact the shop has been mentioned in worldwide media such as Evilmonito.com, Skateboarder Magazine, Skateboard Mag, 411 video magazine, Lodown magazine, Complex, Sneaker Freaker, Streetwear Internationl, Street Jack (Japan), Ollie (Japan), etc… Carrying such sought out brands such as Alien Workshop/Habitat/Reflex/Seek, DGK/Gold Wheels/Organika/Expedition One/Gold Rims, Real/Krooked/Anti Hero/Thunder/Spifire, Independent, Venture, Thrasher, Listen, FTC/Western Edition as their skateboard brands and also Fiberops, Haze, UXA, NIKE SB, Cr8tive Recreation, Adidas Coastal, RBK DGK, Sperry Top Siders, Hex Antistyle, Crooks & Castle, In4mation, Irons, Under Crown, Mike 23, Fuct, The Hundreds, Fucking Awesome, etc…
With this, Brian has taken a large role in building these brands in Hong Kong, through effective media attention which has led to the expansion of the street fashion scene in Hong Kong.
