The Jeepney is a mobile assemblage of signs and decorative motifs found
along the streets of Metro Manila. After World War II, surplus American G.I.
Jeeps were converted into public utility vehicles and decorated with lavish
art and color with each owner’s individual, distinct look.

Today, Jeepney Clothing has carried this same concept of artistic expression
into the world of fashion. Our brand represents a unique style that is
universal in appeal and crosses over into a diverse mix of genres in the
global lifestyle market.

BEAN DIP CLOTHING is a product of long days, and longer nights. Influenced by all aspects of life, people, and music, our philosophy is if anyone works hard and believes in what they are doing, success will soon follow.
“Mediocrity is self-inflicted, genius is self-bestowed.”

James Russell and Bill Smeltzer are Co-Owners of BEAN DIP Clothing, who design and hand screen print the main line. In addition, the Artist Connection allows up and coming artists to relay their work onto a different medium. The Artist Connection Family consists of Matt Collins, Danny Jones, Daryl Waller, and Jason Woodside.
Bean Dip started as a side project hand screen-printing limited run t-shirts and slapping stickers around town. We wanted to make clothing that focused more on the design aspect, not a name, the name was to be irrelevant or even misleading. Design of the tees have two aspects, one from a close view showing detail, and another for the overall look from afar.
Before we started Bean Dip, both of us were attending college; James working on graphic and web site design, and Bill learning the ropes of business and marketing. After graduating, the path laid out before us wasn\’t attractive, so we decided to pave our own road. Coincidentally, our backgrounds complemented each other and Bean Dip was born in early 2006.

Nostylgia Fashions Inc. was started in 2004 as an online retailer of Limited Edition Footwear and after developing a wide base of customers both domestically and internationally, progressed to their storefront boutique in the up and coming Inwood section of Manhattan just north of Washington Heights.

Their boutique is featured on many popular sneaker and fashion culture websites such as www.hypebeast.com, www.kick-fiend.com, and was profiled in detail on www.kixinthecity.com . Although they have become popular on the frontier of the sneaker culture, they view their clothing line as the future of the business and they plan to continue to develop as a true lifestyle brand through their unique fashion outlook and style.
Since 1989, the Obey street art campaign has become an important urban phenomenon, subconsciously touching those well aware of their environment.

Through the vision of Shepard Fairey, Obey has evolved into one of the most controversial yet influential symbols of the 21st century. Derived from a pop-culture athlete in the eighties, the Obey icon has been bombed in developed and rural cities around the world. Its ambiguous idea immediately sparks philosophical discussion and ultimately motivates the inner-person through active participation.
With the help of Mike Ternosky and Erin Wignall, Obey Clothing continues to spread Shepard’s message through sportswear fashion and one-of-a-kind accessories. Each piece designed is cleverly thought out, attracting all genres and ages, reminding them of the days when “style” was a one syllable word. Obey Tees, sweats, vintage track jackets, belts, wallets and military inspired jackets and caps are examples of what we are known for.
