Blacktooth Streetwear

Blacktooth was born in 2002 in Portland, Oregon by Carey Haider. What started as a small project with 2 t-shirts ended up being a full line released 2 seasons a year. The beginnings were funded by Carey selling bootleg concert videos on Ebay. He then would sell the shirts out of his car’s trunk. It’s come a long ways since then but still has the same pureness it had in the beginning.

t-shirts blacktooth

The Blacktooth brand is based on the loose living lifestyle of Carey and his friends who like rock n roll, no rules, loud music, and art. In 2005 the Blacktooth crew took a trip to Las Vegas and ended up in jail with 24 thousand dollars in damage. Blacktooth isn’t just another brand made for profit, it’s the real deal. All the money is taken and re-invested into various art project’s.

www.blacktooth.org is the home of Blacktooth and if you do a little digging around you will find a section called Pirates. This talented group of individuals are the core of Blacktooth and some of the names ring a bell in the underground world of art, music, and skateboarding. Another section thats interesting is the press section. Blacktooth has been featured in magazines all over the world yet never runs add’s or bribes with product or money. If you have read the book “The Tipping Point” you will understand the Blacktooth brand. A few kids started doing what they loved and wore what they wanted and before you knew it other people started to copy. The end result is it spreading quicker then wild fire. Get your hands on some Blacktooth shirts now or you will regret it later because they are very limited.

You can catch the Blacktooth crew this summer riding motorcycles to Burning Man and Sturgis and making a documentary about it. Support the underground.

9Grand Clothing

1 idea. 4 brains. 9Grand. When you break this philosophy down, you have 1 idea, (the label), that was collectively formed by four original partners, (two have passed), who built the company upon an initial $9,000 investment.

9grand streetwear

The actual label name was conceived after the two partners had passed. $9,000 is the only thing that our two partners were able to contribute to the company before their time was cut short. We feel that 9Grand signifies the struggle, strife, devastation and pain that we have felt as a result of the tragedy that we have experienced.

Our collection includes tee’s, hoodies, Premium denim (cut & sewn in L.A.), as well as New Era fitted Caps.

Modus Operandi - Streetwear from Singapore

Modus Operandi was born 2 years ago but was only realised last august upon my completion of compulsary national service in the military. Modus Operandi was a phrase mentioned often in the military and in direct dictionary translation simply means Mode Of Operation.

Streetwear from Singapore

Every T-shirt is a differnt mode, style and mainly inspired by the community in Singapore. In Singapore, we have Chinese, Malays, Indians and Eurasians all living in a small, tiny, sunny island. This explains the imprints of Asia on our tees.

Our company consists of designers with fashion and industrial design background, explaining our passion for the design and apparel field.

Currently, it is an all tee line but in the upcoming months, more products such as jackets, hoodies and bags will be introduced. So be on the lookout for us and support the MO.
