Contrast Wear

The “mass society” we inhabit today makes us long for individuality and distinctiveness more than ever before. Contrast shows how individuality, emotions and characters can be looked at from different perspectives and angles. The uniqueness and individuality of the designs as much as the name Contrast in itself, imply being not only different but also original and genuine.

contrast wear

The mannequin fulfils a clear purpose; it may stand in a shop window or be used as a dress form, etc. it has no identity of its own, but receives its identity from its purpose. A human body with no head, no face, no smile- it
only exists to imitate a “real” human. Our mannequin is placed all over different cities, in public places where people pass by, thus imitating a person and obtaining an identity by its clothes as well as its surrounding.

Contrast was established during the winter of 2003/04 by a group of young international artists in London, who share a desire for individuality and the wish for the affordable dispersion of their work. The themes of the designs are always centred on people, their environment, symbols and emotions, as well as a mixture of individual characters. Contrasts distinctive style combined with the designers wish to represent a visual, colourful, and lively contrast, create the brands unique and unmistakable character.

Quality:
The print is a silk screen print (mostly using plastisol colour) guaranteeing 100 washes on the sustainability and adding a nice and soft feel to the shirt. For some more colourful prints a heatpress of the highest available quality is being used, also guaranteeing wash-sustainability. One coloured prints are also often carefully embroidered or flock-prints.

We use double stitching in the shirt colour to guarantee the best optic while keeping to our quality promise.

All items are prewashed and should therefore not shrink. In rare cases 2-3cm shrinkage after initial wash with maximum 40 degrees Celsius, can occur. Although all shirts can be put in the dryer we advise to dry differently to keep colour and shape of your shirt for as long as possible in its best condition. Always iron inside-out or using a baking paper on the print

All our shirts are of highest quality available. We do not in any way support child labour and everyone involved in the production of the garments received a `fair` wage.

APB Clothing

Founded in 1999, APB is a streetwear clothing brand with a “so cal” flavor based in San Diego, California.

american pig clothing

APB has established a brand based on the concept of the unique and often excessive aspects of American culture. From SUV’s, to 24 hour drive-thrus, to pre-approved platinum credit cards, American’s super-sized lifestyle is extraordinary. The brand’s graphics and logos balance current trends and style, as well as portray the core concept. The nature and tone of the APB voice is clever, witty, humorous, and well styled. It encompasses commercialism, politics, pop culture, and topical issues.

The APB concept of satirizing the establishment is not a new one but its unique brand and identity are. It celebrates the American way - our freedom, our individualism, and our quirks. It acknowledges that we, as Americans, like to be our own spokespersons and proudly display our points of view and expressions.

Infamous - Streetwear from Australia

Who are we? We are you! We are the boys and girls that get together and talk about all they are going to accomplish in life. Run this. Own that. The Lia jet, the yacht and the Benz. Flying around the world fucking mad bitches, throwing cash around (excuse me ladies). We have all had these conversations. Well, we figured life was to short to talk shit, so we started this here. Everyone has dreams and aspirations, make it happen.

infamous australia streetwear

The aim was and is to create high quality gear that people would comment on when you wear it, it’s that simple. “Where can I get that?” “I need that!” It was also to limit the quantity, and availability, to keep it exclusive. If everyone can have it nobody wants it, you know what I’m saying.

Infamous is the brand for all those that do it their way. It doesn’t matter what walk of life your from, if you’re a skater, a thug, or a stockbroker, if you do it your way and you’re your own person …your Infamous. Of course you also have to be a little naughty to be Infamous. This isn’t be in bed by twelve shit. If we offend you, good, we don’t give a fuck, if you like it, you probably love it, so welcome to the club. We are just trying to keep it real; designing what we think is hot, what we think is Infamous. Maybe you will feel what we are trying to do, and maybe you’ll like
it. Don’t take us serious, we are just having fun. Oh yeah….Buy our shit!

Infamous is a company that aims to fill a void in the market for well-made, sophisticated fashion forward clothing that reflects the extravagance of Australia’s unique urban style.

Infamous is not in the bedroom, the streets, or in the V.I.P. room at the hottest spot, its not in the latest gear you throw on to look slick, or the music you listen to when you kick back or want to dance. It’s all those things. It’s a lifestyle. It’s ‘The Infamous lifestyle’.

Kiser Clothing New York

Kiser is a clothing brand whose shirts, jackets and hoodies were born in the streets and since have gone far beyond their beginnings. Kiser Haydar Barnes began selling his unique graffiti-inspired apparel while dodging police officers on the streets of downtown New York City. His line has since evolved into a distinct graphic-design/fashion art form that emphasizes the concept of “Hunt Beauty”.

kiser ny streetwear

Kiser’s pursuit of truth and originality has lead him to create a series of one-of-a-kind, politically-charged designs. His pursuit can best be described by his image of a flower alongside AK-47 guns. The guns reflect the destructive potential in us that is represented by the flower, in effect a peaceful revolution. His style focuses primarily on the search for this type of beauty in the ever-changing Graphic Life in which we live.

Born in Nigeria, raised in Israel and educated at The Rochester Institute of Technology, Kiser’s art has blossomed into its own visual language. Kiser’s “Hunt Beauty” images are inspired by Hip-Hop, Middle-Eastern and African cultures which he blends together to form a symphony of universally relevant designs.

His fashion is intense complex and deeply intellectual. sometimes it is political, sometimes it is playful but it is always about balance. Kiser’s eclectic style has lead him to collaborate on projects with the likes of Chloe, DJ A-Trak, HBO, The Brooklyn Circus and Timberland among others.

His current apparel line is featured in over 30 stores internationally and online. His shirts, and their designs, have been acclaimed by publications such as URB, Guys, Nylon, Source, GQ, Cargo, and Complex magazines.

fiftyseven-thirtythree Streetwear

Oakland California based fiftyseven-thirtythree, focuses on designs that are simple, graphic, and sexy. Designer James Patrick Dawson has been a commercial photographer for the last 15 years and draws from imagery that is arresting, dissident and playful.

fiftyseven-thirtythree

Loretta Nguyen performs the business functions of fiftyseven-thirtythree though promotions, booking and organizing shows. Together, James Dawson works with Loretta Nguyen to produce screen-printed and stenciled shirts and appliquéd hoodies. We draw from an urban aesthetic where multi-culturalism and pop culture merge with inner city decay, graffiti and a lo-tech DIY sensibility.

We look back at our culture to see what has endured and use it as a road map to where we’re going. As a culture, we are mixing elements from around the world to create the future. It’s important, as Americans that we see beyond our current political regression and focus on the fact that the world unfolding around us is incredibly exciting. We strive to reflect and celebrate this to some degree in our designs.

ITM Soul Star Clothing

Born on September 26, 2006, ITM Soul Star is a fusion of two minds; Soul Star, aka “Soul Money” and D’Amico. Soul Money, who hails from the streets of New Jersey, is an underground DJ and producer he quickly came to realize the lack of street culture in Nashville. He met D’Amico, a visual artist, in the summer of 2004. They found that their deep interest in the underground music scene and street art was infectious and they began to use photography, film, and paint to escape visual realism and affect the culture and beat of Nashville.

itm soulstar clothing

Being much more familiar with the streetwear scene, Soul Money spearheaded the initial push to begin to create street culture driven images and clothing. In an interview with D’Amico, early 2007, when asked where does the imagery come from, he answered “We wanted to create a fusion of hip-hop, rock, and punk and put it on a t-shirt.” With this mindset ITM Soul Star is beginning to change the look and feel of the streets in Nashville.

ITM Soul Star draw most of it’s influence from the counter culture of the 80’s and 90’s, with designs paying tribute to Puerto Rican folk lore to poster style designs of 80’s anime robots. Everything is US made and all printing, designing, and construction happens in the 615. We are located in Nashville, Tennessee.
